Digitized Money...Sure, More Efficient, But at What Cost to Our Freedoms? Maybe All.

Image
"The future of money is digital currency." Bill Gates  For my class project I was assigned to write an essay on personal economics. I decided to interview my mom on how things have changed since the 2020s, when she was a child, and today. So what I thought I would focus on was how the move to total digital currencies changed society forever. So where do I begin? I could point to how shopping is so much more convenient, and personalized. My mom said in her day you had to carry money or a plastic card to make a purchase. Now that is all handled with the digital wallet, or micro-chip, inserted into my hand.  Everything is connected to the bank and I get a notice when my funds are getting low. As I noted, even shopping is personalized. All people have had their DNA filed and analyzed for instance. According to my DNA I stand a 60% chance of developing type-2 diabetes in my life. So once I go over a prescribed threshold for sweets or carbohydrates, I am not authorized to bu...

The Course the Marxists Have Taken to Destroy Your Heritage, and thus, Destroy Your Culture.

Image
"To destroy a people, you must first sever their roots." Alexander Solzhenitsyn "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you." Exodus 20:12 I recently posted about the issue of obesity acceptance (body positivity) and a Democrat in my friends network attempted to take me to task. Ironically, the position she took inspired this article, and while it may not be obviously apparent, it ties together the quote from Alexamder Solzhenitsyn and well as the promise in the 10 Commandments above. The person taking the obesity-positive position took the premise that it was nobody's right but the state to question health choices within society.  If a person chooses to be obese, it not only is their right, but they have the right to not be questioned. Nobody has a right to try to inform them of the costs/benefits of weight on health and, in fact, society has the obligation to make public, and private, acco...

Why the Liberal Mind Strives for Authoritarianism

Image
"Where love stops, power begins, and violence, and terror."   Carl Jung It is not hard to remember a few years ago when liberals and conservatives could hold conversations with each other, respect each other's opinions, and at the end agree to disagree.  What happened?  Well, Sigmund Freud might have provided a clue when he discussed the concept of "The narcissism of slight differences." What Freud speculated was that we have far less tolerance for people who are like us, but hold different core values, than we are people who are very different. For instance, way more condemnation came out against Russia when it banned promotion of homosexual themes to pre-18 school children than when a Middle Eastern nation might imprison or execute gay people.  I mean, Russians are a western people who look and generally behave as most Europeans, so liberals would think they should "know better" than to be so conservative whereas people in the Middle East have a fa...

Drag Performances and Creating Sexual Confusion in Children Would have Appalled Sigmund Freud.

Image
"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection."   Sigmund Freud Most of us can remember when school was a place to learn math, science, English, social sciences and to get to see friends.  About the most controversial issue that might come up is how evolution was presented in science classes (most science teachers were Christian, so usually no big deal) or maybe the topic of contraception in health class.  No teachers, especially in grade school, were promoting gender fluidity (no basis in biology), sexually explicit books in school libraries, or that tom boy girls needed to seriously consider having their breasts wacked off so they could "affirm their true gender." In fact, the whole purpose of government schools seems to have changed - and I mean, why not? Math and biology are racist anyway, so why not concentrate on sex and pronouns and such? Well, for one thing, it is going to mess the psychology of children up, a...

The War Against the Family Ideals Needed for a Society to Survive.

Image
"Every tree that bears not good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Matthew 7:19 I remember reading a prediction a leading proponent of humanism made back in the 1980s in which he speculated that sexual orientation would, by the 2020s, become almost meaningless in regard to dating and relationships. His reasoning? He felt it was a logical progression after society had largely divorced sex from reproduction.  The more sex was seen as something just to be enjoyed, or as bonding between two people, the less reproductive aspects would play the governing factor, and thus, sex between people of the same biological sex would become tolerated, mainstreamed and then non-controversial.  Was he right? Apparently he was. People under 25, particularly females, are quickly abandoning the strict label of heterosexual or homosexual.  Now true, most young women today who identify as pan-sexual (a more cool way of saying ambisexual) or bi-sexual are now, or will be, in rela...

"Only a Fool Would Let His Enemy Teach His Children"

Image
"Only a fool would let his enemy teach his children."  Malcolm X Back in the 1970s or even 1980s you knew that when your child went to school the worse threat to them was possible bullying.  Of course, that is a horrible thing. However today, in public schools, you not only have bullying for many, but psychological warfare carried out by teachers and administrators.  And what can one do about it if unable to home school or enroll their children in private schools? Well, there are strategies, but we shall get to that. First, we need to take into account what I have discussed before, social learning theory.  Simply put, we learn by viewing and doing, and that which brings us the most reward will be adopted.  Humans needed a certain level of conformity to survive as a species, but like any positive trait, it can be harmful if manipulated, and the powers-that-be are certainly doing their best to manipulate the minds of our children and youth to reject all posi...

Social Learning Theory is What They Employ to Turn Your Children Against Your Values

Image
"Most human behavior is learned observationally through modeling from others."   Albert Bandura So what do a plummeting marriage rate, smaller families, less religious affiliation with the young and drag queen performances for children have in common?  Simple, they are not trends that originated organically. Once people get this, and how they connect, everything in society today makes sense, but I will deal with that later. What I will cover now is method. How can one reprogram a society out of norms that existed for thousands and thousands of years? Well, there is this thing called "Social Learning Theory" (SLT) that is a very powerful weapon. Yet, what is so elegant of this theory is that it is so simple:  What you see is what you interpret as normal and how you should be. Why do we wear clothes? Why do women shave their legs and men their faces? Why don't we eat with our fingers in western culture? Why don't we eat cats?  Most people would merely shake ...

Fitness and Health - John F. Kennedy Got it Right! We Are in Trouble.

Image
"There is nothing more unfortunate than to have soft, chubby, fat-looking children." John F. Kennedy Imagine a president,or for that matter, any politician or media celebrity making the same comment that President Kennedy made in the 1960s.  The uproar from the "I'm offended" crowd would be deafening.  Was it then? No. Obesity was rather rare in the US population in the 1960s. What changed and who benefits from this public health crisis? First of all, I am not for mocking obese people. Then again, is it right to mock smokers? Thing is, our bodies have mechanisms built into them that reward certain behaviors.  Cigarettes contain stimulants that reward the smoker at the biological level at the moment of use. Trouble is, prolonged use can kill the smoker. Seems unfair, huh, the body rewards use of a dangerous substance, even if the mind knows death may very well result. Fair or not, it's biology.  Now look at food. Humans are blessed, yes blessed, with a hig...
